Upon booking, you have two basic valuation charges sent to you via contract: replacement cost protection or released value protection. You can read more about these valuation charges here. If items are damaged, your choice dictates the value of your items. More detailed information is in your moving contract. Contact us to report the damage as soon as possible. You will then be sent a claim form. We then look at all available data, including your valuation choice, and work out a solution for you. In 2024, we served over 500 clients and had one claim total for the year, which is roughly 0.2%.
We don't move hazardous materials, perishables, pets, jewelry, cash, or valuable documents for safety and legal reasons. We do not move baby grand pianos, grand pianos, slate pool tables, and hot tubs.
