Estimates for these jobs require a visual inspection. We then use proprietary software to calculate the approximate weight of your shipment along with the one-way miles to get you a quote. Shipments are charged by actual weight using a certified scale after the truck is loaded.
We specialize in expedited long-distance moves, meaning you won’t have to wait weeks for your shipment like with our competitors or a Van Line. Your shipment will be delivered as quickly as you’d like. It also will loaded onto a dedicated truck, meaning it won’t be grouped with another shipment. Yes, we provide professional packing and unpacking services as an add-on or standalone option to simplify your move. We can also do partial packing and unpacking for your delicate items if you'd like. If you'd like our white glove moving service, we take care of everything from start to finish.
Are you "move ready?" The more prepared you are for your move, the more smoothly your move will go. Being move ready means having all boxes packed, stacked, and labelled for us. All furniture surfaces are clear and ready for us to take. Items not being moved by us are in separate areas. Everything is labeled clearly and ready to go. Upon booking, you have two basic valuation charges sent to you via contract: replacement cost protection or released value protection. You can read more about these valuation charges here. If items are damaged, your choice dictates the value of your items. More detailed information is in your moving contract. Contact us to report the damage as soon as possible. You will then be sent a claim form. We then look at all available data, including your valuation choice, and work out a solution for you. In 2024, we served over 500 clients and had one claim total for the year, which is roughly 0.2%.
We don't move hazardous materials, perishables, pets, jewelry, cash, or valuable documents for safety and legal reasons. We do not move baby grand pianos, grand pianos, slate pool tables, and hot tubs.
